KEF Speakers with Onkyo Amp ?

Would my KEF Q Series speakers sound ok with an Onkyo Receiver ? Particulary the latest X009 model range.

How would the sound be described on an Onkyo Receiver ?

I will go for a demo, but that wont be until the new year now. So looking for some top line advice before i may be wasting my time and should look at something else.

i have an onkyo 577 and just paired it up with some kef xq40's, 20's a 50c and a 60b sub and wow what a sound, no complaints what so ever mate
