Please can someone tell me if the kef reference ones have one of those boundary compensation devices fitted. Just bought some and was expecting to find one but cannot, although do not really know where to look. They are 1's not 1.2's (if you see what I mean).

    Thanks
    Andy

    Hi

If they have a BCD its inside the speaker terminal, its a small grub screw that you unscrew and turn over and screw back into place again depending on which setting you want. Its in the positive terminal if I remember rightly, you have to unscrew part of the binding post first of all to get to it (the bit the banana plug goes into).

    Thanks for the info.
Had a look for it, but does not seem to be there. Must just be on later models.

    Cheers

    hiya

just had a look at the instruction manual (gasp) :D and i'm afraid that the model ones and fours didn't have this facility.

btw it's normally found beneath the LF+ terminal.

Checked my model 2's and they have it. In the bottom + terminal. You can just make out a slot to put a flat head screw driver in. All the other terminals have a hole.
