Been toying with the idea of possibly upgrading my centre ..was looking at a 2nd hand reference 200...worth changing or stick with my trusty 100 ??

The Ref 200 is a much better centre speaker than the 100. Has a lot more punch due to the extra drivers. They're a fair bit wider than the 100 as well, so make sure you have the space to accommodate it. The 100 was the only speaker I've ever owned where I had to increase the centre channel level a couple of db. No such issues with the 200. :)

Make sure all the drivers are intact on the one you're looking at. The driver surrounding the UniQ tweeter can detach itself with age. Had a couple go that way and they're not easy to get hold of now.

I upgraded from the 100c to 200c which I'm still using after a few years now.
I liked the 100c which was a big improvement on my previous 95c.
The 200c will give another signidicant improvement and well worth the change. I think there is one for sale on the forum at the moment.
I've slightly increased the level on my 200c but that's an age thing not a reflection on the speaker :D
