    In another thread MattF Wote:
The bass on the 2.2's does go quite a bit lower on the 2.2's, this isn't such an issue with a decent sub and speakers typically set to small. Set them to large and turn off the sub and the difference is greater.

There is an adjustment screw to enhance the bass on the 1.2's (as on the other Ref .2's) but I never tried it. The thing for me was the physical size of the speaker. I'm moving to a MASSIVE room at some point and I didn't feel that the 1.2's would fit in.

So I'm Ebaying the 1.2s and have bought some 2.2's
At the moment ;) I bought a B&W THX Speaker setup secondhand yesterday and I'm going to do a head-to-head comparison of the two systems. One will go.

    Comparison between
    2 B&W PCS8 THX Passive Subs
    3 B&W FCM8 THX Front Speakers
1 B&W SCM8 Dipole Surround (Still looking for the other one)
    With my TDM34Ds's

    or

    Kef Reference 2.2s
    Kef Model 100
    M&K V-75 Mark II
    with my TDMs
