I have the KEF Reference 1.2's. Absolutely love them!
Was using them as large in a setup(you can see my setup in my sig) and I have 2 Velodyne CHT-10's (had the REL Q100E).

Now the question is - should I have my fronts as large or small? My feeling is that the speakers are quite capable of handling bass, but I am not sure. I have tried it both ways, but can't make my mind up.

    What do you guys think?

Here's a link for the specs of the KEFs: http://www.kef.com/history/1990_2/reference/Refone2.htm

I would set them as large even though your bass is well taken care of by your subs.
I have done this with my 2.2s even though I have a rel stadium III.
The kefs will produce good bass and even though bass is meant to be non directional they can only add to the general suround of bass.
If you contact Kef I am sure they will give the same advice.

So where do you set the crossover on your sub then? The 1.2s go down to 55Hz, so should I set the crossover on the sub to 60Hz and set it to 80 Hz on the processor?
