Can I put the Kef R200c on a floating shelf beneath the TV?

I can see center speaker stands but I would rather it was fixed to the wall..(Kids / Dogs)

As I like the bottom third to half of the TV at sitting eye level means the TV sits lower down. My idea is to put a floating shelf with acoustic foam with pointing slightly up...

Does this sound like a reasonable plan?

You might need to fit the foam bung if its close to the wall.

Heavy old beast wall fixings need to be really secure. Try and keep the front of the speaker proud of the edge of the shelf to avoid unwanted sonic reflections.
