Hi
Purchased some KEF Q900 (To replace my old B&W 2004s), they are coupled to a Onkyo A9030...However not too happy with the sound and im guessing its something to do with the Amp.

Could anyone recommend a better amp.

I'm using the Q900 / Q600 combo in my HT system and have received nothing but compliments on these speakers for music as well as TV/ movies etc.... they are just amazing for the price. I too am wondering what you are hearing and in what application ( HT? stereo? what are your sources? what amp/ receiver? how do you have them positioned? what's the room size?)

FYI, although rated at 8ohms, a number of the technical reviews found that they can go as low as 3 ohms... so a sturdy amp will make a difference. I was using a Marantz SR6005 to power mine, decided to add a separate amp from the pre-outs; tried an Adcom 555, a Belles 250 , a Technics TX100 and finally settled on a Sunfire 5 x 200 amp for the fronts.
