Hi gonna be demo'ing these speakers soon but was wondering if anyone had any experiance with them in stereo and in a 7.1/5.1 system.
Was looking at Q1's but the guy reckoned Q3's stereo ability was better and also being floorstanders would be better.
He is waiting for a 2011 ( wich is what I will be partnering them with) so when he gets it in will give me a call to demo them.
Whats a good price for them , was quoted £450 that good or bad?
    Thanx

Q1s + stands = £320 ish are a far better solution than the Q3s. Love my Q1s but the Q3 is awful by comparison.

Why is the Q3 awful compared to the Q1 - BOOM that's the effect the box has. They seem to be a result of the marketing department rather than the technical department - take the internals of a Q1 & put them in a bigger box & add £150 to the price.

Manuman I have the Q9C & it's a good centre speaker & is a good match for the Q1s. I think it looks good but others thinks it's ugly but hey thats the way of things. Many would say you should just get another Q1 to act as the centre & I have sympathy for this but in my room configuration I need a regular centre style of speaker to fit.

My biggest complaints are the silly rear foot (rubber cover keeps falling off when moving) & the price (Kef Q1 £250 a pair Q9c £250 for 1)
