I discovered this morning that my centre speaker was sounding awful, and upon further inspection found the cone has blown itself a pretty significant hole.
It’s only 9 months old so I have contacted KEF for advice, but I fully expect them to say “that’ll be £500 for a new one”.
It’s used in an all KEF home theatre setup (connected to a Denon AVC-X3700H), so won’t have been used excessively or pushed to what I would consider too loud.
Any advice on what to do or whether it can be repaired, in case KEF won’t cover it?
9x other KEF speakers in this setup, I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come…
Thanks!
