    Can they be wall mounted???

I know that they are bookshelf speakers , but I want to out them out of the way.

Looking on Kef's site they say either bookshelf or stands.

How much will it effect the noise they make?

    Thanks

Possibly. :D The Q1's are not square, but have a curved cabinet, so you'll need a large, possibly flat-base wall-bracket to "stand" them on, rather than "grip" them like with a (grammer?) normal bookshelf speaker. The cabinets are also lovely and I'd be unhappy putting screws in the bottom to hold them in a normal bracket.

As for sound, they are front ported and should sound fine up close to a wall. Nice speakers IMO. :smashin:

Thanks, very pleased with the noise that they currently make and didnt want to muck them up.

I will try and put a shelf in each corner of the room.

As the Q4 slim floorstander cost the same in Germany as the Q1 I went for the Q4's as surround units and they work well, used floor stands to elevate them 60 cm.
    Cheers
