kef psw2500 with music

    hi, i have a pioneer ax-10is amp and a kef psw2500 subwoofer, and tehey work just fine with movies, but with music, i don't hear the sub, and when i go see, the red light on the sub is on, wich means he is not getting any signal. the subwoofer is connected to pre out sub w. 1 in the amp. what am i doing wrong?

    On some amps if you play music via direct mode on the amp it may not direct anything to the subwoofer. Try stereo mode instead if you have one

    It could also be a configuration issue.

    I have the same Sub, and it is activated in stereo listening when I have enabled the Bass setting to both on my Marantz SR7400. The AX10i may have a similar setting you will need to change.

    BTW, the PSW2500 is great with music :) remeber to switch the sub to music mode at the back to get the best effect :)

    Thanks, i got it. i had to change a setting in the amp. :smashin:
