Kef Psw 2010

Hi,

My KEF PSW 2010 makes a very load Humming sound when on and u can hear it while watching a moive when there is not a very load scene I think this hum is to do with my 5 metre IXOS sub-woofer cable.

my question is can a sub-woofer cable be at fault and is it most likely to be the sub.

also as the Kef has both a line in left and right input is it actually better to use a Y-sub-woofer cabe?

Try clicking the Ground In/Out switch to the oposite to what it's on now. That stopped my 2010 from humming

what interconnect are you using from sub to amp

I use a Monsterbass 400 interconnect that i picked up dirt cheap on E-Bay from the USA.
