Hi, Wondering if anyone here has heard the above kef system? if so, any chance of a review? there are few details around the web that i've been able to find on it.

Also does anyone know where these could be demo'd?

    Cheers.

We have a demo set on permanent demo at my shop (Sevenoaks Edinburgh) I can highly recommend them and if you feel like a jaunt to sunny Scotland then give me a call beforehand to book a demo.

I have the 9000's. I swapped from Mission M74i floor standers and M7C2 centre last year and have been very happy!

I'm in Gloucestershire, although I do fly to Edinburgh 5 or 6 times a year so maybe :)

Stellavision: how do they compare bass wise to the missions? my main obvious concern is that these speakers are small and therefore may not be able to produce the bass of a larger cabinet. Does ACE actually does what is says on the tin?

They do produce a remarkably good bass for satelites. However, they cannot keep up with floor standers I'm afraid. I use mine with a subwoofer and would not really recommend them on their own for quality stereo listening.

Hmm, I assume with a decent sub they sound as good as floor standers ?

Provided you use a decent sub and integrate properly, get crossover correct, etc. you will acheive results as good as if not better than many floor standers IMHO.
