KEF KHT 5005.2 Upgrade ?

Hi,

I've got a 5005.2 style 5.1 setup that I got on the size of the room (12' x 13' to open hall on right) and to be SWMBO friendly. I'm looking to upgrade now and started with the TV (Sony 55XE8596) that I acquired from a relative. I'm now looking at the rest of the setup. As far as speakers are concerned changing the fronts will be tricky due to space and family considerations with a better option to change out the amp (a non functioning Denon 2805) for either another Denon or Marantz and possibly the sub. The alternatives are to swap the lot for something like B&W MT's or bookshelfs which I'm loathed to do or just add slim stereo floorstanders and make it into a 7.1.

As far as a sub swap is concerned, the SVS chooser selected PB-2000 pro, sb-2000 pro and sb-3000 which seems overkill. The only one of these that would fit due to size is the sb-2000 as I can't really go larger.

Thoughts ?

2000 and 3000 aren't overkill, your living room opens up to other rooms.
