Just had a short if interesting demo of the Kefs and MA's and to my surprise I have to say the Kefs impressed me the most. The BR5's have what seems like a full nicely balanced sound until you hear the kefs. The top end is far more vibrant, it feels as though the information was missing on the BR5's. The sound did feel a little lightweight until we played with the positioning getting them closer to the boundary filled out the punchy bottom end. The kefs definitely liked more current to get them singing and are probably not suited to budget electronics. The demo was cut short when gamestation rang to say my sons wii had turned up
I will this week take the demo pair of kefs home and give them a good working out over christmas. Great service from the guys at practical hifi.
