 I have just heard a rumour that KEF will not give warranties for any "EGG" systems that have no serial numbers:confused:
A friend of mine bought his mail order and it has no serial nos so I guess he will have to go back to the mail order company if he has a prob:mad: if the company still exists then!

If they have no s/n's then they are almost certainly grey, an old trick to hide the dealer that supplied them. If they were bought mail order then this is more likely as UK dealers can only sell these speakers in store! Happily though the KHT system is extremely reliable and the only problems seem to be humming subs, which is not a fault as such and can be cured!

The serial number/s are usually on the main box/es and on the speakers, and sometimes on the literature. Are you sure they are nowhere at all?
