I currently have a set of kef kht 1005's, but have a chance to upgrade the 5 sat's(no sub) to the 2005's. Would it be ok to keep the sub that came with my 1005's and use this with the eggs?
Also i was thinking of keeping 2 of the 1005's and using them as the rear back speakers in a 7.1 setup, any views on this?

As long as the speakers don't have to be connected into the sub, before going to the amp, you'll be fine mixing-and-matching in any Kef combination you choose.

This probably isn't the place for this, but I'd be willing to buy your 1005 set off you if your interested.

    Let me know.
