    Hi All

I currently have a plasma display with a sony Davs-888 all in one theatre system. It is my intention to upgrade this system over time and to this end i have purchased 3x kef ci9000 to provide the front array, however the ohm/watts issue is on my mind and as i know little about it......i would appreciate any advice, the sony is quoted at 100 watts x 5 ( 3ohms at 1 khz) with the speakers at 3 ohms each, the kef 9000`s are 8 ohms each.

Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this will be ok for a while until i upgrade the amp..???? Thanks in advance. Bill.

No problem for the amplifier. Eight ohms is easier to drive than 3 ohms.
