kef 5005.2's onto plasterboard

    Stil lconsidering upgrading my tannoy mx series speakers for some kef 5005.2's to keep the missus sweet.

    Are they ok to just wall mount onto platerboard using some plasterboard anchors?

    Yeah just fine. You can hang a 50" plasma screen on plasterobard only fixings, there is no need to worry about hanging some teeny weeny Kef speakers on there.

    For the Kefs all you would need to use is something like these ~Nylon Self Drive Fixings from Plasplugs:

    cheers...what I meant was will they be ok in terms ofvibration when cranked up loud etc being on the wall

    The KHT5005s are pretty small satellites that are not comfortable reproducing mch below 100Hz, therefore there will be very little strong vibrations coming from them anyway.

    repalcing some full size tannoy mx series speakers.....stil lnot sure weather ot bother or not, hehe...

    Heard a couple of sat packages now (cheaper ones), but wernt that keen o nthe sound, fairly bassy but not as clear as me tannoys
