Anyone know anything about the Kef 3005HD2 package that Richer Sounds are selling??

It seems massively cheaper than the 3005 se range and the only differences I can see from the pics are different centre and sub.

Is this the case or are the 4 sattelites different as well??

any advice would be top banana :D

It comes with the KEF T2 subwoofer that usually partners the T series rather than the more capable HTB2se sub that comes with the usual KHT3005se package. It's worth a little extra for the SE package, which retails for £500 on its own, using dual bass drivers (one ABR) compared to the T2's single driver.

Here's KEF's page for the KHT3005 package and it's options.

    Thanks David.

So is the centre speaker also different from the se series?? I am weighing up if the se series is worth approx 350 more than the 3005hd2.

Judging by their pic, it does look like a standard satellite, not the normal centre that comes with the 3005se package.
