    Hi, 2 questions :

Is it normal that my new 4 HTS 3001 SE speakers sound a little weird compared to my older HTS 2001.2 speakers. I know you should be patient for the speakers to be played in fully. But I had no idea it would make such a difference.
(My 2001.2 speakers were demo models, so I did not notice it back then)

What would you guys recommend in terms of the reflex port (just above the binding posts). Should I put the plug in the port or not? All 4 speakers are hanging on the wall and 3 of the 4 speakers are hanging in a corner.
    Thanks for any advice!

Describe what is weird about the sound? Mine are located on a wall near corners and I don't use the bungs.

Nah, I would def. not call it bad. They sound alot "brighter" than the 2001.2 speakers. Is that possible?
I just have to get used to it I think ? :)

Concerning the bungs I will take a scene from a movie which I know very well - opening sequence of Star Trek (2009) - and listen to the same part with and without bungs.
I guess that's the best way to know what I will like the most.

Some more info in regards to the term ''weird''.
Yesterday for example I noticed something when watching an ''in conversation'' piece on the new Trek Blurays. It lasted more than an hour and was all talking between 4 people, so I turned up the volume quite loud, at the end of the feature the end credits was covered with the flute melody from Picard from the episode ''Inner Light''. But the sound of that was very loud and very sharp in the high tones. That is something I did not notice with my 2001.2 speakers - they never sounded so sharp, no matter how high the volume was.

No idea if that is normal?

When listening to music without the bungs it sounded very boomy to me.
After listening to the same piece with the bungs it sounded better. So I'll stick WITH bungs.
For movies I did not hear much difference (if any)
