    Hi there

I am thinking of upgrading my Q7's and seeing as I cant get the Q11 in South Africa I was thinking of going for the Kef reference 201 as mains. Has anyone tried matching them with the Q1's and the Q2ds ? Ignore my receiver below, Yammy RXV 2500 on the way.

Thanks for the advice in advance

THey shouod work quite well together as most of the Kef range of speakers a quite a close tonal match to each other. Just for your information also the Q11s are a US product only hence why they are not available in SA.

    Thanks

One further question. I know the Kef ref series is quite power hungry, do you think the Yamaha 2500 will be sufficient or should I look at a good stereo amp to run the 201's off ?
