I have made impulse purchase of Kef 200C, I have owned it before but didn't used it so don't know how good this speaker is. So guys what is your opinion about this speaker if you have used one or heard one. This is another Opinion thread I feel like I have got habit of asking opinions.
    thanks.

Its' a brilliant centre speaker, a bit of a classic now and still sought after.
I'm sure if you don't like it there will be plenty of people willing to purchase it off you.

This speaker has been discussed at length previously on this site.

    It is a great center.
The entry-level (almost iconic) serious center speaker IMHO.

Just to reinforce what the two Steve's have said, it's an excellent Centre speaker. :)

    thanks guys.

I didn't know it is entry level speaker because it says reference on the top of it, and it was worth £700 few years ago.

You are certainly making the right noises, give it as much power as you can afford. Dynamics and their control of, require horse-power.

No question- it's a great speaker, I upgraded from a 100c when I got my in walls which use the Reference 4.2 speaker array and haven't looked at another centre since!

Give it more power, better power or a better signal and it will reward you each time with better sounds...

It's not for my system, it's for the old chaps. It is a superb Centre speaker though and will match his Kef RDM's nicely.

I liked the RDM's, decent speakers and the 200 is going to blend in a treat. They all love oddles of quality amplification - sound good on OK kit but absolutely sing when you give them a good kick up the ass !

I own two Kef 200c, serial number 262535B and 265307B to match my two front pairs of Kef 104/2. My surrounds are Kef C55 pair and Kef iQ30 pair.

I personal like and enjoy my 200c. It is a 3-way speaker with one central active and two side passive speakers which enrich the sound beautifully. I also own two Velodyne F1200B subwoofers. In other words, I have two almost identical 5.1 Ch-surround system drived by two Marantz SR7400s for my two homes.

Well, I am in my late 50s as you can tell by my taste of speakers. I am looking into B&W800D and Electrocompaniet "Nemo" driver. This will be my next system upgrade. Hopefully before my hearing deteriorated.
