    Hi,

    I have just bought new pioneer kuro lcd and their blu ray player, I am thinking of getting the vxs1018ah av receiver as its kuro link system.

    I am having problems choosing speakers as i really like the Kef 2005.3. The problem being they're too tall to fit where we need them as we're limited to space. Can anyone suggest some of equal quality wise but smaller in size.
    I wouldn't like to spend anymore than £500.

    Thanks :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    There is a Mission sub/satellite set up that uses really tiny cubes for sats, can't remember the exact name but they are much smaller than the Kefs and perform surprisingly well apparently. I'll look for a link for you.

    Are you aware that Kef Eggs can be mounted sideways as well as vertically? That might get around your height issues.

    What's the max height your space can take?

    Crikey, Kate, that's not a very big space at all then! Sorry I can't be of more help.

    Hi,

    thanks they're great aren't they. They have good reviews too. The cheapest I've seen them is at Priceless Electrical for £549, I may be able to get a deal as I'm also after the Pioneer av receiver VSX 1018AH, Ive seen the receiver at Hughesdirect for £399. If I buy them together elsewhere I maybe able to net them both for £900. Hughes don't stock them unfortunately.

    Thanks
