I currently have the KEF 2005.1 Eggs powered by the Pioneer VSX - 2011. Although i am fairly happy with the sound I wonder if I can improve upon it (especially the bass) by upgrading. What would be the best option....
    1) Upgrade to the 2005.2 package?

    2) Upgrade just the subwoofer to the 2005.2 woofer?

    3) Upgrade the subwoofer with another manufacturer like REL?

Any ideas/thoughts before I go to the EXPO show next weekend to spend some wedge??

    Cheers

    Rob

The original subwoofer was not a well loved beastie and if it is just the bass that you want improving, the simple answer would be to buy a better subwoofer.

The sub from the newer Egg package is much improved and buy either that or wait a day or two as there should be an announcement about some very good subwoofers being sold at specially discounted prices in our Powerbuy forum that is imminent.
