I've just purchased a 2nd pair of 104/2's for the rear of my AV setup. I'm wondering if this was the best thing to do or if I would have been better off with the likes of the KEF RDM2's?

The main problem is they are quite large, but looking at the RDM's their footprint on a stand will be not far off.

Fronts KEF 104/2 Raymond Cooke SE's
    Rear KEF 104/2's
    Centre KEF 200C

I don't see a problem with getting rid of the 2nd pair if I'm advised to.

    Any input is appreciated

You obviously have room, so keep them, they are good speakers, and the perfect match to your fronts...

I would add a good subwoofer, at least for LFE, as they don´t really go far down...
