I have a pair of KEF 104/2's from the late 80's. One of the tweeters blew, and KEF no longer makes the T33 to replace.
Anyone know of a good replacement tweeter?

Thanks ahead of time for any ideas.

I know this is pretty vague, and may be completly useless but i'm sure I read in a copy of Hi-Fi News that there is a company, possibly somewhere in Wembley, who can replace "tired" speakers. Now whether this would include your tweeters I really don't know. I could of course be talking out of my bottom,:suicide: but this info might jolt somebody elses memory and be able to supply more concrete info, anyway good luck. :)

    Try wilmslow audio: http://www.wilmslow-audio.co.uk/

They may be able to suggest a suitable replacement. You may need to replace both though or the sound will be different.

Kef often repair broken tweeters as well, I have just had one repaired from a set of Kef Cantors from 1981
