    Hi all,

I have just set up my KEF 1005 speakers with an ONKYO SR605 and have noticed an anoying problem that I hope someone can help me with.

When I turn the system back on after turning it off for the night the sub does not get recognised unless I unplug the cable from the back of the sub and put it back in again. It then works great! I would love it to just activate without having to do this. Apart from that the system is fantastic!!

    Any ideas?

Try turning the gain down on the subwoofer's controls to about 10 'O Clock and then running the auto setup again. This will force the Onkyo amp to output a higher level signal to compensate and as a result will be more likely to wake the Kef subwoofer from its slumbering state.
