My Hitachi 42PD7200 will be delivered tomorrow and I was wondering how I would keep the screen clean as my 2 year old has developed a bad habit of touching the T.V. Screen over the last few days  I'm sure the screen was plastic  So the glass cleaner I currently use on my Tosh 36zp18Q would be no good

My children are grown up so i don't have the problem. However, if i were in your position i would put a sheet ot blanket over the screen when the little person is about. :)

Touching the screen will not be a problem :smashin:

The risk of the screen, being pulled over, is a different matter.

It's very heavy, so I doubt it could be pulled over by a 3 YO, but if it ever fell, it would easily kill a child.

Make sure its fixed to the table or wall :smashin:

Cleaning-wise, Yes the micro-fibre jobs are fine, although I reckon a damp soft rag will suffice :smashin:

I don't think there is a special coating on the 7200.

Don't think my wife would like my son on the wall :nono: But if he was he could not touch the screen

UkDan Plasma will be sitting on my Stands Unique AV support so wall mount will not be possible. Looks like a damp cloth and a first aid kit is the only way :D Badger0-0 if my wife ever sits and reads this I will be :suicide:

Thanks for the tips gents................ ;)

To clarify, I mean use the fixing holes in the base or chain it to the wall :smashin:
