    Hi All,

After looking for a new 10m scart lead for my Seleco SVP350, i seen the Syncblaster range are they worth buying one to connect to my new projector ??

It's just that i've seen the scart to x5 BNC's video grade cable in the Keene catalogue. I need a length of 10m so would it be better to get the syncblaster cable or just buy the normal cable without the Syncblaster conersion ??

I would like the best quality connection to go from my dvd player (Scart - RGB) to the CRT projector............

Anybody own a cable like this ?? What are your thoughts ??

    Cheers

I've got one and it works very well. I needed one to strip out and boost the sync signal for my NEC PG9+.

    regards, Simon.

    Hi Stratman,

How did the picture quality vary from a standard lead to a syncblaster lead, was it worth the extra money ??

It's just that i could buy a good quality 10m scart to x5 BNC's from Keene for £50 But after looking at problems with RGB over long distance, and devices being fussy about a standard video connection, i just thought is it worth the £30 ??

    Cheers

I needed to get the syncblaster because the sync voltage produced by the scart output of my sources wasn't high enough for my NEC 9PG+ (and switcher) to reliably sync to, so I can't comment on a comparison between picture quality with a standard scart cable. I did try making a DIY sync separator but couldn't get it to work. It seems even more expensive when my progscan DVD player only cost £50!

    Regards, Simon.
