    Cheers fellas :)

    playthefilm, that photo is part of a test set of moon shots I did one night not long ago, can you believe they are handheld, full digital zoom (48x) stabilised, and thru a window :) Those panasonics are pretty good. No PP either, just resize. I'm sure I could have gotten better results by using a tripod, only using 12x optical and doing some magic in PP!

    Remember, the moon is bright :)

    Just dug out the Exif data:

    1/125th F3.3 ISO 80 AWB

    Spot metering, just focus right on the edge of the moon and it should do the trick. It was a very cold frosty night when I took that one, I tried again couple of weeks ago but there was not much detail to capture and I ended up with a bright ball of light :rotfl:

    Hey fella!

    Yeah the 432mm has good reach :rotfl:

    I have seen some amazing shots by sticking a oly tcon17 on the front for that extra reach.
