    Cheers

It was (stopped using it after a week) very un-user friendly in every way.
The main problem I had though was that when I tried to fast forward (which was very slow) to a specific point on a recording (couldn't make any bookmark or chapter points) it would freeze up and then reboot itself. Once it even wiped the hard drive after it did it...it was just a complete nightmare to use.

Really oh well thanks for that. Sounds a complete load of c*ap :thumbsdow Guess I should forget about them though the KSF 200 on ebay is so cheap I notice £53 ??

Going ot but the hdd on my Manhatten ST-550 performs faultlessly. I have dozens of recs and never had one problem, has 27x FF and rewind, quite fast I think by PVR standards..

£53? I paid £650 for mine, although it had a 300gb hard drive.

At £53 It might be worth taking a chance on it, you never know this model might be an improvement (mines a different model which I bought a year ago).

    Just looked at the KSF200 on ebay and it's not a PVR, it's just a standard satellite reciever....that's why it's £55. :)

The hard drive came with the receiver so it should be compatible but I think it could be a hard drive fault. Can't remember about the multi screen, I only used the receiver a few times a year ago before storing it away.

I use a Technisat Digicorder S1 and the features on it for recording and navigating are excellent.

Very expensive was'nt it ? What made you choose it, I've only recently heard about Kaon. I'm sure the new 700 will be a lot better...hopefully
