Rare's games are usually something special. Also watch out for Perfect Dark Zero.

I have watched the Vid at 720p on my plasma and it looks pretty impressive, as long as it can run all that smoothly (which it should).
I haven't played Kameo before, I take it is a RPG.

deffo on the initial games purchase shortlist.....:)
always been a multiplayer gamer - but this looks like an exception (doubt it will have any major LIVE multiplayer ability)

p.s. apparently you can spend points at CD-WOW as well as Argos now....thanks to someone elses post for that info.... :smashin:
means I should be able to buy a handful of games without spending any of my hard earned

I think you'll be pleased to learn the campaign can be played in co-op split screen or system link. Rare have also said that some special online modes are to be announced, so that looks like meaning co-op on Live. This game just gets better all the time.

They never said you could play the campaign in co-op. He said co-op will be like double dragon. So by that i take it he means you can do co-op on the battle fields or levels designed especially for co-op?

Nobody has played it, it's an all new game. To me it looks more of a Zelda like game than a traditional RPG.

Don't forget that Kameo has been in development for years though, didn't it start as an N64 project?

Could have started out as a project for the Dragon, it's still a 1st generation game on the 360, if these graphics are done without hardcoding then this is the very LEAST we can expect of the 360 graphically - Amazing!

must admit being a boring sunday with no football ive not alot to do but d/l 360 videos. now this game just keeps going up in my estimation in fact its probably the prettiest game ive seen on the xbox 360. colours are so vivid, the water is just unreal. i just watched a video with the ant guy in a war with 5000 ogre things and its just breath taking tbh. second video is the blue squid goes underwater into the water temple and they ever have refractive physics through the water for gods sake :D makes an old physics geek like me happy. just in search of proper 720p vid's and i must be honest im now looking to add £40 to my 360 budget to add this game as well  i keep saying this about other games as well

Kameo is going to turn out to be a bit a little disapointing by all accounts (just thought I'd try and get this thread going again!)

Maybe because he read the eurogamer review that gave it 5? IGN 8.4 Gamespot 8.7 Edge 7 says it should be a good game to me?

I played it at the 360 tour and it's great fun if you like Platform/Adventure? you'll love Kameo.

still looks great but the length of the game has put me off getting it at launch. thats not to say i wont get it im sure i definatly will but thats more likely when i can pick it up cheaper or buy 2nd of someone who has finished it. seems a pity its really short but again these titles are generally showcases for whats to come :D

Mainly the Edge review - This was starting to look like THE definitive launch title, and Edge had a preview of it a while back which hinted at as much - The Edge review, and several others, have indicated that it is a visually breath-taking adventure game, with uninspiring puzzles - This is no Zelda, relatively easy, short, and the Kameo element has not been used to its full potential - Several reviews have mentioned how it is possible to virtually get through the whole game with just 2 of the characters; I also noted that despite the 9 given in the partisan Official X360 mag, the body of the review simply did not add up to a 9 score, there were alot of criticisms and it fell short on a lot of elements!

Don't get me wrong, I will be buying Kameo, but ultimately I get the impression it is a disapointment, after taking so much time and promising so much.

Obviously each to their own but I personally dont like (more like never can) rushing through a game to get to the finish. I prefer to savour what is going on looking in every nook and cranny that way the game does last a whole lot longer :smashin:

I would be the same, although I have to be honest, the only games that I consistently spend hours on and actually finish are the Zelda games, undoubtedly my favourite games - In the next 9 days, I intend to revisit the Windwaker as I have recently bought a Gamecube Component Cable and a Samsung 26" HD LCD TV - There is a game that is beautiful, bright, and amazing to behold - The sense of wonder the first time I loaded that baby up, Zelda would be a very high benchmark, and that is what I am (possibly unfairly) going to use to judge Kameo by - I am really, really hoping that I am as enchanted and drawn in by Kameo's world as I have been the world of Zelda - The Wind Waker was short by Zelda standards, but an amazing game and experience - It is the Windwaker that my copy of Kameo will have to live up to; But in terms of what makes a good game, enjoyment is the most important thing from a personal point of view; my fingers and thumbs are crossed that I will be smitten by Kameo! :)
