Does anyone know if the Kamelon will operate the RDXS32?
When I try using the Toshiba codes all that happens is I get 'DR-1' displayed in the Tosh's front panel.
Now what the hell does that mean?!
    Thanks.

I got a much older one for all to work my RDXS32 using a JP1 file, this was created for another Toshiba DVD recoder but worked fine, I would be shocked if it did not work yours.

The JP1 set up code was 1503.

    You can find it here

As to your JP1 question I do not have a Kamelon, but understand it does do JP1, but it does not have the connector, so needs to have the jp1 connector soldered on.

    Have a look here

Problem is using learning that mosytOne for all remotes have a limit of about 25 learnt commands, - fills up very easily, so unless the remote is a pure learning remote use learning as a last resort.

You don't need to modify the URC-8060 to get it to work with JP1 (and in fact there isn't a mod available), what you need to do is get a pogo-pin adapter which costs about $10 US. You could also call OFA and ask them to load the code for this DVD player over the phone, the code is DVD/1988

I had a Pronto and loathed it! I now have a Kameleon 6 and love it! It is easy to use, clear to see and easy to program. The answers to previous questions can all be found in the manual.
