How far behind is a 7000 over a 7900? £500?

There are a few differences, but nothing major:

- X7000 defaults to gamma D when HDR signal seen. This can be manually overridden, but has to be done after the HDR signal has been received.
- The X7900 uses Eshift 4, but this is just different (debate as to whether it is better than Eshift3).
- The X7900 has a low latency mode for gaming
- The X7900 can use the auto iris with HDR.

I think those are the main differences.

The 1st and 4th points can be worked around with a HDR Fury (and automated if required via the RS232 connection).

On site calibration would be extra, but I have calibrated the projector off the lens for:

SDR709 (including custom BT1886 imported curve)
REC2020
HDR1200 (with custom HDR1200 curve)
HDR4000 (with custom HDR4000 curve)

Video on the BT1886 curve below:

Hi Ricky, which PSA subs are available? I'm in a 3.5x3.5m room, looking at upgrading to something better than the Arendal 2V.
Looking for those infrasonics ideally. I was looking at the TV18ipal or TV1812. Wasn't sure which would be better.
I also need a miniDSP and mic.
Thanks.

Hi Tom
When I bought my LS10500 from Rickyj I believe he did the same sort of pre-calibration. I've never changed the different settings for BT709, BT2020 SDR and HDR he provided in 1300 hours of use, so I think this is a good option. Later on, you can always get a calibration in situ. Perhaps pick up a Lumagen too :)

I believe we have been chatting by email, but if I am wrong, please let me know :smashin:

It comes with remote, 2 sets of 3D glasses, and power cable, in its original box

There is 522H on the laser (although we will be adding a few more hours to the laser when we setup before shipping out.

This is a 4K-Enhancement Projector, and supports HDCP2.2, but is not HDR or REC2020 compatible (without using a Lumagen or HD Fury).

Just a note to say what a great service Kalibrate provide - Ricky tweaked the projector I bought from him and it looks superb. Very helpful chap as well

I still think the Epson LS is an amazing bit of kit and produces wonderful colours. I’m curious at to what movie this image was from?

Pretty sure it's Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)
Sounds right. Not one we usually use, but was testing the Apple TV 4K at the time, and is one of our films in our library.

If someone has the space for the LS10000 (it is HUGE) that is an incredible deal. I loved my LS10000, such a great projector.
