Bluetooth is your best bet, transferring an mp3, a whole track not just a ringtone, took about 2 hours by cable, just 3 mins by bluetooth.

I transfer via docking station to the K700 and P900 and it takes much less than 2 hours for an mp3. Less than two minutes

Bluetooth is slower than via direct cable link, but IIRC slightly faster than IR

Do you use the same docking station for both or have you 2 seperate ones for each phone? Ive a p800 docking station but it wont pick my k700i up!? I'm dying to get some mp3s to my phone but cant.

Buy yourself a bluetooth dongle and just drag and drop MP3's to your phone, piece of cake.
