Hi

I'm very interested. I presume the bulb with 650 hours is the only one that has been used in this projector? Also, I've been advised to ask a few other questions - I hope they make sense, as I'm brand new to projectors:

  • How good is the panel alignment/convergence?
  • Does the image have any signs of bright corners at all?
  • Does it have a good lens, with a nice even image across the screen

Subject to all the above being okay, I would like to make you an offer. Would you accept £1100 if I were to save you the cost and hassle of delivery, and drive to Walsall for a socially distanced pick-up from you one day this week?

Thanks,

David.

Hello.
It's the same bulb with was in PJ when i bought it, not sure if previous owner changed it.
There is original topic where I bought it from https://www.avforums.com/threads/jvc-x5000-and-diverse-tab-tention-screen.2300737/
So I think it's the original one.

Surely there is nothink wrong with it, it was used on 135 inch screen with nice even perfect picture, no white spoots, corners etc.
You can test it on collection, the big screen is taken down but I have 86 inch ready for test.

P.s.

I can give a bonuss 135 inch fixed screen, italian made. Rrp £680
For free.

If all good I accept your offer if you collect.

Thank you

Hi

Thanks for agreeing to my offer. Before we go to PM, could you kindly just check I'm reading this chart correctly for the suitability to my room?

Is this right?
  • A 6ft screen displays an image that is 1829mm wide
  • So, to achieve that image the projector can be as close as 2.6m to the screen (but no closer)
  • This is the same regardless of whether the screen is 16:9 or 2.35:1
That's very generous of you to offer me the screen, but it would be way to big for me, unfortunately. I guess it would come in handy for me to test what screen size would suit me best though. I'll have to check whether I could bit it in my car.

Thanks again,

David.
