    :( Hi all

    my 7 year old av-32wr2ek, has just lost red from the picture, My colour settings are always set about 1/4 as is the contrast, brightness is less than 1/2, could this be expensive. the picture is perfect other than no RED showing.

    If your talking straight from the aerial socket then yes it *looks* serious. Likely one of the CRT colour guns have stopped firing. Could of course just be a dry joint.

    Howevr if it's via a AV socket only then check the scart/s are pushed in properly... both ends and check for no broken scart pins.

    :censored: Guess what???? the tube is knacked,, £400-£500 to fix, no way! :mad: I went to currys and bought a JVC AV-32H5SK for £399.99 & even managed to get a SONY VTX-D800U free view for £70 :D , because I bought the extended warranty. Cheers Ian,,, ps the tv that is in the bin cost me £1200 7 years ago. How prices change.
