    Hi all,

I'm currently using JVC scarts like the one in the picture
    [IMG]

Now it seems pretty good to me, nice picture, deep blacks etc and only cost me £13.99.

    Anyway I had 2 questions :

    1) anyone else got any opinions on these cables?

    2) any suggestions for a decent upgrade at about the £20 mark? (I've heard that profligold and Ixos cables are good at this price but will am I likely to see a noticable improvement in picture quality?) Ok so that's actually 3 questions.

I've no idea what the quality of the JVC scart cable is like, but I do know that this scart cable comes highly recommended by several forum members and if you buy from the link above you will be supporting one of the forum sponsors.

    Mark.

The Thor has the best build quality at the price, but not the best picture quality. I think the IXOS XFT02 outperforms it in terms of colour seperation and depth. But only very, very slightly.

Got a feeling that the XFT02 might actually be the same cable as the JVC though. They look very similar. Almost certainly from the same manufacturer if not.

Thanks guys. I'll see if I can borrow an expensive Scart from a pal and compare pictures.
