    Hello,
I'm looking into either of these all-in-one 6.1 systems with hard dive recorders. They seem like value for money.

However, I can't find a review of these anywhere.

Can anyone provide feedback or point me to a review?

I'm planning on using the system with a Omtopma H30 projector.

    Thank you.

    Al.

Yeah im looking at the F70 too (dont want the hard drive unit of the F90 as have sky+) I think they are new products as i struglled to find an image of them for a while and places like empire direct are saying stuff like 'stock expected soon'.

They do seem like a bargain with 700 watt, 6.1, an active sub, numerous optical sockets and component input/output too.

    Hi,

Got tired of looking for a review.

    Took the plunge and ordered a f70 from krishav.co.uk (along with a Optima H30 :) ).

Seems like it's got the right stuff in there including progressive scan output on the DVD.

Should take delivery early next week - will post a review once I have it up and running.

    Hi,
laziness prevented me from posting any further!

System is fantastic. The sound is great - wonderfully clear. The subwoofer is great - nice and deep. Incidentally, I have replaced the supplied sub with a MS one from Richer Sounds just to provide an extra kick.

The system speakers are nice and slim (one of the main reasons I bought the unit) and can be tucked away in the room.

I am very pleased with the DTS sound steering. The 6th speaker (rear center) really does make a difference.

I have the JVC hooked up to a progressing scan projector (h30) and the picture quality is outstanding.

As yet, I haven't tried DVD recordings. However, I'm sure they will be okay.

The only gripe I have is that I paid for the system to be region free. As yet, the shop hasn't found a hack for it (but have returned my money). I'm hoping someone can tell me of one.

Buy the system - you will not regret it.
