I've just purchased a JVC gd-v4210pce plasma screen. Does anyone know if this is a good screen ?
I have a pace dtva, and have managed to get an s-video signal from it to the plasma (via my av amp). trouble is, the picture seems quite grainy and large areas (jackets, walls) appear to be quite blocky.
The signal strengh on my pace dtva is around 80%

    any suggestions ?

I looked at this plasma briefly and it was indeed grainy, even on a DVD outputting progressive scan. Also its black level is very poor and no where near what the specs say it should be. When I tried a s-video connection to it, it looked terrible. You should defiantly connect it using RGB and turn down the brightness on the panel, this should hide some of the blockyness.

many thanks, i might try using a line doubler which converts s-video in a vga signal, maybe this will produce better results !
