We've got a couple of (inherited) JVC GD-VT4210 Plasmas in the office to be used in an exhibition, they're plugged into a Matrox Dual head card and are displaying a pair of 640x480 desktops fine - but I can't seem to get them to run in their 16:9 native resolution (853x480)

Windows detects them as default monitors, so no widescreen options. The card can do widescreen resolutions (848x480 and 856x480) - but if I try to select these then it's no go.

    Anyone got any advice ?

I think you have to select a different monitor type within the Powerdesk util for the Matrox card. It should have one for a widescreen monitor.

Have a look at the forums at www.matrox.com for more info on using a plasma with a Matrox card.
