    Hi All,

First of all - congratulations on a great forum!

Due to an accident last night, my JVC MXGT91R Hi-Fi system is in need of repair. The Sound Mode, Bass, and Search knobs have stopped working - I have stripped the unit down today, and found that the main control circuit board (the one with all the buttons/knobs on) and also the smaller board with the search knob on are both broken.

The part numbers for the boards are FMB-028-2 and FMH-031-3 respectively - I have search google and also these forums and cannot find anywhere to obtain these replacement boards from.

Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to get these from? And are they likely to be expensive?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help!

    Andy :)

Connect Distribution distribute JVC parts to non-account holders but complete PCBs for this model aren't available from JVC, although individual parts are.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply Gary!

So do you think it is unlikely I will be able to get replacement PCBs? The smaller PCB just needs a new pot but the larger one is actually broken :-(

    Andy.
