I have a JVC 26 inch LCD (about 14 months old) that has developed a problem with the screen. There are 2 visible lines that appear horizontal, approx. 3 inches and 8 inches from the bottom of the screen. Difficult to describe, but they are not sharp lines.... they are "fuzzy" lines that are about 1 inch deep.

I'm just out of the manufacturer warranty (surprise surprise) but have an extended warranty through my Credit Card.

Anyone any ideas what the problem is likely to be - I thought it may be inteference from Wireless stuff through my house, but turning them off made no difference.

    Cheers!

From your description, it sounds like a couple of the backlights behind the screen may have gone slightly low. These can be replaced by an engineer.
