Selling my JVC IR 3D Emitter with 4 pairs of JVC glasses. Will also include a pair of Philips glasses for free as I dont know if they work or not, they require a 2032 battery. £200 delivered
    (was £250, then £220 now £200)

If you need extra glasses I have 7 pairs of Xpand Youniversal (4 x Adult & 3 x Kids) £40 each

I have 8x1.44m of a Velvet material. I bought yesterday (12th Feb) to stop light bouncing of my walls and ceiling. My room is completely black but given the small space my screen is almost wall to wall and the type of screen means there is light reflecting on the walls. There was a difference with the velvet up but not completely gone so I think I will look to replace the screen instead. £50 Delivered.

    Price and currency: £220
    Delivery: Included
    Payment method: Cash, BT
    Location: Dunfermline
    Advertised elsewhere?: Advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

Ive added a few photos, wasn't able to get any decent shots of the picture quality as my camera phone just cant do it any justice or maybe it was the guy taking the photos. Any questions let me know.

I am about to try home cinema for the first time. Would this projector be bright enough for daytime viewing ?

Would it be possible to view the projector as I am fairly local ?

    Hi Jim

You are more than welcome to come round for a viewing. I think the X70 is fine for daytime viewing but these sort of things can be very subjective and also depend on the room environment, wall & ceiling colours, blinds, curtains ect can all play a big part.

I would definitely recommend a viewing before hand. It will be possible to set up in my dedicated bat cave, and then bring it downstairs into the dining room (it would have to be projected on a cream wall but it would give you an idea of how it performs between the two rooms.)

I will say that I have had several offers tonight for the projector, and I don't expect it to be around for much longer. Thats not to try and rush you, just want to make you aware as it advertised elsewhere.

I am based in Dunfermline just of the motorway next to the big Amazon warehouse so if you want to pop in for a demo, just let me know.

    Cheers

    Jaime

    Hi Jim

That will be fine for me. As I say Ive had a few offers tonight but as long as no one actually puts a bid in then it will still be here. I will send you a PM with my address and phone number and we can take from there.

    Cheers

    Hi Jim

Some bad news Im afraid, the projector has been purchased on ebay this morning. I will let you know if the deal falls through for any reason. If the buyer is not collecting today you are still welcome to come round for a demo, so that you can get an idea of what to go for.

Hi Charles, I dropped the price to £220 delivered. They are in Very good condition no scratches and each has original charging lead, pouch and box.

I also have a pair of Phillips glasses that work with JVC but Im not sure if they are working or not, they take a 2032 battery and I dont have any to test, but I will include them for free.

Hi mate, yes these will work with the 5900.

The only thing with the IR vs RF is that the IR ones can make using an IR remote annoying while 3D is on. It never bothered me much as I used an app when playing 3d movies. I think it depends where your equipment is and where the IR emitter is placed, I think if they are pointing towards each other thats when you get interference and using the remote becomes a hassle. If you use an app or have a non IR remote you won't be affected. This is only when a 3d signal is being inputed. Apart from that there is not much difference between the IR and RF ones, I would say the build quality and comfort is actually slightly better on the IR ones.
