Do you think this looks a good deal?
Go for the sony DCRPC 105
er.....thats another £300 quid more
Not from here
ah the 105, sorry i thought you went the 350....... The 105 isn't as well specced as the JVC. Anyway, got the camera this morning from PRC, blimey its small!
Big troubles come in small packages
you really are a great help
I've had one for about a year now. Brilliant little machine. No problems at all. I carry it around in my pocket wherever I go.
I guess there is a replacement soon, if the price has come down.
Check out the specs. It does fades, special effects, etc etc...
thanks JH4, got my camcorder today £499 PRC, Its my first camcorder so i'm in the dark to what it can do.
You need to read the manual carefully. There is an awful lot to learn, but it's worth it.
happy filming !
Not wanting to upset you, but its now £399 at PRC Direct.
That's not why I posted this reply - can you recommend the camera and PRC Direct?
Bugger! another 100 quid off........ still i didn't pay the £800 it was when it came out! Camera is a really nice little thing. Havent really got into the complex bits, just pointing and shooting at the moment. This is my first camera, so can't say if its good or bad, but its a real nice thing to own!
Found PRC fantastic to be honest. Bit worried about ordering online, but came in a few days as promised. They do have a shop(S) if you don't want to shop online. Hope this helps, Mark.
It gets a very good review at whatcorder.net - http://www.whatcamcorder.net/cgi-bin/displayreview.php?reviewid=3807
I've ordered one online and PRC call you back to confirm the order. They also try to sell you insurance (£79 for 3 years) and tapes, etc. They also suggested that I pay an extra £10 to get it delivered quicker (otherwise it would take over a week). Though for £399 it seems a very good buy.
