JVC GR-DVL357 will not eject

    It doesn't even make a sound when I open the cassette cover. Short of leaving it in for a service (limited use over 3 and a half years :mad: ) is there anything else I can try?

    Michael are you trying this with a battery or a mains adapter? If it's battery maybe you could try the adapter just in case it's a power issue. One other thing you could try is a very careful squirt of air from an aerosol air duster (from Maplins) around the eject button. Good luck :smashin:

    I've tried both, although the air can came from work, not Maplin's :D

    I think a sensor has maybe gone on the eject mechanism. Ah well, I suppose I can still cope with one arm and leg. :mad:
