I'm in the market for a DV camcorder and after much reading (of reviews from this and similar forums) have almost made up my mind to go for a JVC GR-D70, as it has all the features I'm likely to need as a low end user. I've found it for about £340 at PRC Direct and RGB Direct. (The Sony TVR33 and Panasonic NGS50 were also on my shortlist but are more expensive).
1) Has anyone any feedback on this machine?
2) What does the "EK" stand for?
3) I assume it'll come with a battery but does anyone have any suggestions for a decent 2nd battery and charger?
