Just picked up one of these and lots of accessories, from a trip to the US. Unfortnatley was not in a position to check specs etc but seemed a good buy at the time. * 1/6-inch 800,000 pixel CCD. * 16x Optical Zoom/700x Super Digital Zoom with Spline Interpolation. * 3-Dimension Noise Reduction (3D NR). * 2.5" Clear LCD Monitor. * Auto Illumi. Light (Auto Illumination Light). * 520 Lines of Resolution with Super High-Band Processor. * Digital Colour NightScope. * Picture Stabiliser. * Colour Viewfinder. * DV Input/Output (i.LINK, IEEE1394 compliant). * MiniDV Format with PCM Stereo Sound. * Digital Effects and Scene Transitions. * 44x Digital Zoom Playback. * Power-Linked Operation. * S-Video and A/V Output Terminals. * LP Mode for 120 min. on single cassette. * Dimensions: W71 x H91 x D118mm. * Weight: 500g. Sorry to waffle, It is my first camcorder nevermind a digital one but am I expecting to much from the picture. I have just quickly recorded my front room (not fully lit) and the picture seems a bit blocky. I understand it is not the higest number of pixels for a CCD but I was expecting a pretty good picture from a digital cam corder. I would appreciate people comments. Thanks.
