We have the above tv. Not my choice but anyway it is what it is. Its a va panel & when using sky hd via hdmi (tried all ports) the colour, gamma is washed out. I thought this was normal but yesterday set up the fire tv element to watch Amazon, Netfkix etc. When using the same picture mode & settings there's a marked difference in that although there is some fading of colours its almost like a ips panel. Is this an hdmi issue or is sky hd too bright (not able to adjust the box anyway). I have tried adjusting the tv contrast on sky but anything higher than 50 (out of 100) makes it worse. Its almost like sky picture has been set with a high contrast (some cloudy skies just look white with no outlines). I should add straight on viewing the picture is fine.
Any ideas?

Can’t help Unfortunately, but it might be worth asking in the sky satellite section.
